# Mommy Shots by Amrita

> Mommy Shots by Amrita is an award-winning maternity, newborn, and family photography studio founded by Amrita Samant, based in Bangalore and Chennai, India. The studio specialises in high-end, artistic portrait photography for maternity, newborn, baby, and family milestones — edited in a warm, whimsical, arthouse style. Regular shoot dates are held in Hyderabad and Mumbai; the studio also travels across India and internationally for shoots.

Key notes:

- Sessions are available in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Singapore; outstation and international travel shoots can be arranged on request
- Book at least 2–4 weeks in advance; sessions fill up quickly
- Four package tiers: Essential Mini (45 min), Classic (1–2 hrs), Signature (2–3 hrs), Legacy (3–4 hrs)
- Combined maternity + newborn packages and multi-year Wonder Years packages are available
- Edited photos are delivered 30–45 business days after selection via a Zenfolio virtual folder; bespoke folio boxes and prints are available for select packages
- Rescheduling within 48 hours of booking: flat fee of ₹2,999; subsequent reschedules: 50% of package price; all payments are non-refundable
- The studio has an extensive collection of maternity gowns, themed props, and backdrops; some props (balloons, flowers, fruits) are charged on actuals
- Partners and children are included in sessions; extended family (grandparents, etc.) are chargeable
- Newborn shoots are ideally within 0–30 days of birth; babies up to 3 months can be photographed
- Best time for maternity shoot: 6–8 months of pregnancy (5–6 months for twins)
